4 Year Plan for Incoming Freshman

JMC Four-Year Class Schedules

All students must complete the ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú requirements for University Studies, 42 hours of classes at the 300, 400 or 500 level, at least 120 total hours, and maintain a 2.0 GPA overall and in their area, major and minor (typically 21-24 hours) or second major. Students in the Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, and Television Production majors must also complete at least 72 hours of classes outside the JMC curriculum.

Each student has an adviser assigned during the first semester who is a member of the faculty in the major of choice. Depending on the choice of a minor, each student may have a second adviser in that subject area as well. All students who choose a second major must have a second adviser in that subject area. To assure deliberate progress toward graduation on the schedule below, students must meet with their advisers before each class registration period.
