The ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Department of Art & Design and University Galleries are pleased to announce three exhibits displayed at the Clara M. Eagle Galleries and Mary Ed Mecoy Hall Gallery on the sixth floor of the Doyle Price Fine Arts Building on ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State’s campus.
Dr. Brian Clardy, associate professor of History at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, has been unanimously elected the next Chair of the Kentucky Humanities Council (KHC) Board of Directors. Clardy was first appointed to the KHC and the Kentucky Oral History Commission by Governor Andy Beshear in 2020. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the KHC Board to Judge Charles W. Boteler of Louisville, and chair of the Kentucky Oral History Commission.
Dr. Marc Polizzi, associate professor of Political Science at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, along with two co-authors, Dr. Moisés Arce, the Scott and Marjorie Cowen chair in Latin American Social Sciences and professor in the Department of Political Science at Tulane University, and Dr. Michael S. Hendricks, assistant professor in the Department of Politics and Government at Illinois State University, published The Roots of Engagement: Understanding Opposition and Support for Resource Extraction with Oxford University Press.
ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú’s School of Nursing & Health Professions (SONHP) has been awarded a total of $307,800 in a workforce grant through the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education’s (CPE) Healthcare Workforce Collaborative.
