Dr. Brian Clardy, associate professor of History at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, has been unanimously elected the next Chair of the Kentucky Humanities Council (KHC) Board of Directors. Clardy was first appointed to the KHC and the Kentucky Oral History Commission by Governor Andy Beshear in 2020. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the KHC Board to Judge Charles W. Boteler of Louisville, and chair of the Kentucky Oral History Commission.
Ashley Pizzolato, a senior Japanese major and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) minor from Donaldson, Arkansas, recently won the Silver Award in the College Division II category of Japanese Learning Inspired Vision and Engagement (J.LIVE) Talk, a national Japanese language speech competition.
The Kay R. Hays Staff Professional Development Fund was established by gifts to the ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Foundation, Inc. (ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Foundation) to support professional development for ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú staff
The ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Nonprofit Leadership Studies program has presented the 2022 Giving Back Endowment Grant Award to the Playhouse in the Park in recognition of its long-term success in youth development across the community. The funds will be utilized to support The Penguin Project.
