The Ms. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Scholarship Pageant is a beloved tradition that takes place each year in Lovett Auditorium during the spring semester. In truth, the Ms. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State Pageant is not just about pageantry, but it is about empowerment, self-esteem, self-confidence and so much more. The pageant serves to acknowledge the scholarly and influential students who grace ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State’s campus each day. Campus Activities Board is very proud to host an event that draws attention to such outstanding contestants as each contestant strives to make a difference during their time as students at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State. Once crowned, Ms. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú will not only advance to represent ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State in the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival, but will also receive a scholarship. The Ms. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Pageant Queen acts as a role model for all and is a spokesperson of ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú.
Each Registered Student Organization is able to nominate up to four (4) women to represent your organization as a preliminary nominee. From this group, fifteen will be selected to compete for the title of Ms. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú.
Each nominee must be a student and must have and maintain an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00. They must also be planning to attend ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú as a student for the entire school year following the pageant (will not graduate before Spring 2026).
There will be a mandatory meeting for all applicants on November 12th in the Curris Center Barkley Room. If the applicant is unable to attend they may send a designated representative. Each nominee will have a 3-minute interview with a panel of judges on the evening of November 19, 2024, in the Ohio Room located within the Curris Center.

The Laptop Bank is an implemented program that has been created with the combined efforts of the Student Government Association, the University's Information Systems Office and the Procurement Office. A student who shows genuine need for laptop use may submit a physical application or online application to the Center for Student Involvement where a committee shall review the application and will make a decision regarding the possible admission into the Laptop Bank program. If a student is admitted into the program, a contract will be signed allowing a laptop to be LOANED to a student. At the end of the semester, the laptop must be returned to the Center for Student Involvement. The same student may request to have the laptop loaned to them another semester. This request must be submitted in writing to the Center for Student Involvement. If anyone has any questions regarding this program, please contact Kade Gambill, Coordinator for Student Activities at 270.809.6987 or kgambill@murraystate.edu.
