The Scholarship Application can be completed on Via by searching for "Education Abroad Scholarships" in the list of programs. Learn more about scholarship availability and eligibility requirements. 

The Withdrawal Deadline gives participants the opportunity to withdraw the study abroad application before any money has been spent by ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State to reserve airline tickets, accommodations, and other necessary logistics. If a participant knows they will not be able to participate in the program for any reason (financial, academic, personal, etc.) they should withdraw by the withdrawal deadline in order to avoid incurring any charges to their ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State account. Please see the Study Abroad Policies and Procedures for the complete withdrawal policy.

Post-Acceptance Deadlines

The Post-Acceptance forms that you receive upon your acceptance to your study abroad program are due by the dates listed on the form. These forms include medical information, passport, photo, insurance, etc. Flight information and passport upload, if unavailable, are the only items that can remain incomplete by this date but must be turned in 30 days before departure.

Non-Compliance Fee

A non-refundable $250 non-compliance fee will be charged to student accounts for any outstanding Via post-acceptance items the Monday after orientation, not including flight and passport information.

A non-refundable $250 non-compliance fee will be charged for outstanding passport and flight information 30 days prior to program departure.

There is a mandatory pre-departure orientation for all study abroad programs. The date of your mandatory orientation corresponds to the term you are studying abroad. Parents and loved ones are encouraged to attend orientation with their student participants.

Students on provider programs (KIIS, CCSA, IBS, CIEE, ISA, etc) will attend the orientation hosted by the provider. 

Canvas orientation deadline

April 15, 2023 for Summer, Fall, and Full Year Programs

All students studying abroad, regardless of program provider, must complete the online orientation through the Canvas system. You will receive more details about the online orientation when you are added to the canvas course after your acceptance to the program.

Priority Deadline

December 1, 2024

Summer is the most popular time to study abroad. ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú by this early deadline to have your application reviewed and your spot reserved on one of ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State's faculty led programs for summer.
