Online Courses in Mathematics and Statistics
Our online courses are designed to foster active learning and use an interactive style of problem solving.
Currently, the department offers these course online:
- MAT 117, Mathematical Concepts
- MAT 140, College Algebra
- MAT 145, Trigonometry
- MAT 220, Business Calculus
- STA 135, Introduction to Probability and Statistics
- STA 660, Biostatistics.
The workload in this course is comparable to one that meets face-to-face. The course is not self-paced and includes real-time instructor interaction. Students should be self-disciplined, motivated and have some skills using a computer and a Web browser.
