ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Career Services is a comprehensive career department dedicated to assisting ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State students, alums, faculty, staff and employers with all aspects of career development/recruitment in a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment empowering them with the tools and skills necessary to succeed in their career path.
Meet Our Staff!
Matt Purdy
Director
Career Services
Mr. Purdy hails from Chillicothe, Illinois. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. His first job was at McDonald's. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, tackling DIY projects, golfing, reading, and working out. His best career advice is to seek out ways to stretch yourself professionally and regularly step out of your comfort zone.
Dr. Amanda Mansfield

Dr. Mansfield hails from Gleason, Tennessee. She holds an Ed.D. in P-20 & Community Leadership from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Her first job was a summer job in high school at the H.I.S. Blue Jeans Factory, where she worked during her Freshman and Sophomore years. In her free time, Amanda enjoys going to concerts, traveling, being outdoors, trying new things, binge-watching shows, and cooking. Her best career advice is to remember that most career paths are nonlinear. Try not to limit yourself, and don't be afraid to explore!
Katie Kriesky

Ms. Kriesky is from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, Kentucky. She holds a Master of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, both from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú. Her first job was a lifeguard at Venture River. In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, crocheting and crafting, watching and attending sporting events, and playing cozy video games. Her best career advice is to not be afraid to put yourself out there; sometimes the best opportunities come when you least expect them.
Tara Siress

Ms. Siress is from Pope County in Southern Illinois. She holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, both from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State University. Her first job was at Hardee's. In her free time, Tara enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring historic towns and homes. Her best career advice is to view all career experiences as valuable, because they are likely preparing you for your future endeavors.
Kassia Tucker
Administrative Assistant

Ms. Tucker is from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, Kentucky. She holds an Associate of Arts degree and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in the field of Communication from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú. Her career journey began as a part-time retail sales associate at a clothing store called Fashion Bug. In her free time, Kassia enjoys watching and attending sporting events, traveling, and reading. Her best career advice is to always send a thank you note or email after an interview. Following up with this small gesture may be the tiebreaker between you and another equally qualified candidate.

Marcos holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and he minored in Sport Management. Marcos is currently in his Master of Business Administration program at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State with a concentration in Global Communications. Marcos' first job was a tennis coach, and his favorite hobbies are drawing, going to the gym, playing tennis, and surfing. Marcos' favorite thing about ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú is Career Services and the tennis team!

Kilee earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting and is currently working toward her MBA here at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State. Kilee's first job was a file clerk at a bank. Her favorite hobbies are cooking, going on walks, and boating. Kilee's favorite thing about ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State University are the people and walking across campus & seeing those people!
