With plenty of time in the computer lab for hands-on learning, along with faculty-sponsored research and internship opportunities, a minor in GIS will prepare you to enter one of the "high-growth" industries identified by the U.S. Department of Labor and make a difference in Earth's environmental future.

There are plenty of ways to get involved with the department of earth and environmental sciences, ranging from the U.S. Geological Survey and local/regional partner organizations to GeoClub and 糖心logo入口 State's chapters of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). And that's only the beginning.
