Tommy and Mindy Wagner
Feb 1, 2022
Tommy and I met my junior year when seeking advice from "the boy next door" about taking time to enjoy my college experience. It was fortunate I lived in an apartment next to such a cute and nice guy! As our paths unfolded we discovered how much our lives intertwined. Although I came to ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State from Indiana and Tommy grew up in ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, the same doctor that delivered Tommy also delivered our kids. Tommy was even born in my hometown! Fate really brought together two of the best friends to enjoy coffee, family and the Racer tradition forever. Our experiences in ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú were wonderful and we were able to enjoy all the traditions together from cheering on the Racers, great experiences to a few runs down south. We had the opportunity to raise our family in ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú when Tommy took a job that brought us back to ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú and I have worked for the University since 2009. Our children always wanted to attend ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State and all three have. It was special to have our children take part in the Racer experience from their strollers to adults. Our son, Connor married his Racer Solemate this past summer with the same minister from our ceremony. I have been able to enjoy advising for Alpha Gamma Delta with my daughters, Lauren and Lindsey, as legacies. This past fall, Lauren was crowned Homecoming queen wearing the necklace from her grandmother’s ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú State retirement. Our love for alma mater and tradition run deep..
